Karen is the Branch County CD manager. She is responsible for securing funding for the district and staffing each program area. Karen's goal is to develop programs that help conserve, preserve, and educate residents about the natural resources in Branch County.

FARM BILL BIOLOGIST ext. 117
As FBB, Tim assists with the implementation of the Conservation Reserve Program (CRP), the Hunter Access Program (HAP), and the no-till drill rental for the USDA Service Center in Coldwater, Michigan. He offers technical habitat assistance and support to customers in both Branch and Calhoun Counties via email, phone call, and field visits.

CTAI CONSERVATIONIST ext. 101
Allie serves as the CTAI Conservationist, in which she provides conservation based technical and financial support to landowners who are enrolled in federal Farm Bill programs. She works with clients in Branch, St. Joseph, and Kalamazoo counties.

SOIL CONSERVATIONIST ext. 118
As a soil conservationist, Sheila offers conservation planning and technical assistance to everyone from family farmers to local government officials. These services apply to a wide variety of landscapes and can address soil conservation, water quality improvement, nutrient management, wetland restorations, and wildlife habitat improvement and protection.

Marcus Reynolds (NRCS)
DISTRICT CONSERVATIONIST ext. 116
Marcus’s role as the District Conservationist provides county wide technical support to farmers that optimizes both sustainability and practicality. He writes conservation plans that mitigate natural resource threats based on each unique habitat. He also works closely with the BCD staff in their daily duties.
