The Truax FLXII-88 Warm Season Grass Drill is 8 ft wide, has 8 planting rows and 8″ spacing. It plants 5.3 feet per pass and plants seeds 1/2″ deep.

Precedence for drill use goes to those planting warm-season fluffy grass seeds. Cool season seeds, food plots, alfalfa, or clover seed can only be planted when a Landowner is also planting warm-season grasses.

This drill was funded jointly by MDNR, Pheasants Forever, and Ducks Unlimited.

You are eligible if:

  1. You live in Branch/Hillsdale County

  2. You have a tractor with a hydraulic hook up and at least 35 hp
